Gratinated Potatoes

1 kg potatoes, 200 g roasted meat or smoked ham, 200 g any sort of cheese that melts, 200 g cottage-cheese, 30 g butter, 100 ml heavy cream, 1 egg, salt, pepper.
Boil, peel and slice the potatoes. Grease an oven dish and put a layer of sliced potatoes, then melting cheese (100 g), meat or ham (small cubes) and half of cottage-cheese, salt and pepper, then another layer alterning these ingredients but we must finish with potatoes. Mix the egg with the heavy cream, pour in on the entire surface and add the rest of the melting cheese. Bake until golden brown in the heated oven, on medium heat.
