Tri-coloured Pudding
5 eggs, 1 liter milk, 125 g sugar, vanilla at taste, 5 tbs flour, butter (margarine) nut-size, 50 g chocolate, 100 g cherries. Separe the eggs. On yolks add sugar and vanilla. Thin composition with milk. Put half a liter milk boil on steam bath. On yolks and sugar mixture add the 5 tsp flour, one by one, taking care for balls. Thin with the rest of milk and put it in the boiling milk, mixing continuously, until it becomes a thick cream. Take it off the heat and add butter. Whisk the whites as a foam and put them on the cream, mixing them well together. Let cool. Make three parts of the cream: one part will be yellow (the original colour), another part will be combined with the chocolate melted in 2 tbs milk and will be brown and the third part will be mixed with the fruits (let some for decoration). Arrange in coloured layers in glasses and decorate with fruits, maybe cream, if you have some, and mint leaves. |
