Vă anunțam luna trecută că Manowar a început lucrul la o ediție aniversară specială a albumului Kings of Metal, care se va numi… „Kings Of Metal MMXIV”. Știu că în engleză prepozițiile se scriu cu literă mică în titlu, dar așa scrie în comunicatul primit. Între timp formația a înregistrat piesa „The Warrior’s Prayer” și a fost atât de impresionată de colaborarea cu Brian Blessed (în foto) încât s-a considerat că musai să afle și restul lumii.

Se pare că și Blessed (între alte a jucat în Flash Gordon și Robin Hood – prințul hoților – cel al lui Kevin Kostner) s-a simțit… binecuvântat de această colaborare: „For me, the whole experience was completely miraculous and life changing. What a privilege to be part of such a divine, great team!”

Pentru a înregistra cu Blessed Manowar s-au dus taman la Birmingham, acolo unde acum 25 de ani a fost înregistrat corul de 100 de bărbați pentru cântecul „The Crown And The Ring”, care a apărut pe albumul original și cu care formația își încheie concertele.
